Road Safety Week is an annual, national event organised by Brake (the Road Safety charity). It usually runs in the autumn term.

Road Safety Week is a great opportunity to focus on safety for the school journey.  As it’s usually in November your child’s school may link it to a Be Bright, Be Seen campaign.

The Brake Road Safety website contains a lot of information about Road Safety Week. The site contains information for teachers and communities, with tips of how to become involved and the chance to order resources.

You might also like to involve your local Police Community Support Officer in your road safety week.
